JORDAN MAISON
Jordan Maison is a lifelong nerd, whose love of film eventually led to him studying filmmaking in college (specifically editing). He has since turned his love to writing about movies instead, and in 2010 kicked off TheMoviePool, before transforming the site into Cinelinx in 2012, where he continues to serve as the Editor-in-Chief. He hasn’t entirely left his filmmaking roots behind, however, as he is a regular contributor for Videomaker Magazine.
Through that, he is able to write about his love of all things movies, video games, and even books. An avid Star Wars collector, Jordan has also written for the official Star Wars site and Star Wars Insider Magazine. In 2018, Jordan founded the Reel Outreach charity organization to help kids in need see the latest movies on the big screen, garnering attention from major entertainment websites, and donations from Kevin Smith, Scott Derrickson, and many other notable directors.
