JENN ROHM
Jenn Rohm is a DFW local with memories of viewing Star Wars: A New Hope at North Park Cinema II, ET at Richardson Square Three, Mannequin at North Star 8 and Pretty Woman at GC Richardson 6. When The Firm was released, she saw the movie and then read the book. Then with Ready Player One she read the book and then saw the movie. Going forward when and where possible she will see the movie first then read the book. While she does not have a favorite movie, she has a handful that have memories attached to them. It may have been whom she saw it with, or something that was happening in her life at the time. She enjoys movies that pull her out of her world and create a temporary escape, teach something new, and those that inspire conversation. And the guilty pleasure is an action film with a good car scene. In 2017 Jenn joined The Clubhouse Podcast where she began not only discussing her thoughts and opinions on movies in a public format, but she was also writing them down. When the pandemic began her work life changed and she had to step away from movie reviews. In 2023 with returning to life out an about, she has begun writing reviews for Selig Film News.
