Brian Taylor

Brian S. Taylor is a film critic for The Cine-Men (http://thecinemen.com). He has been writing about film since 2007 in the city he was born and raised in, San Antonio. He has had a lifelong love of film dating back to the time of Drive-in’s and cable TV.

He was an avid collector of VHS, (the sorely missed) Laserdisc, DVD, and eventually Blu-ray. He still has a healthy collection of movies, Mondo posters and way too many collectible drinking glasses. Brian’s passion for cinema runs deep as he can always find something positive to say about almost any film. He enjoys all genres of film, but his personal favorites are Musicals, Horror, and is always down for a good Drama.

Since he began writing about film he watches hundreds of films, and interviews filmmakers across the film festival circuit every year. His passion for his favorite art form shines through whenever you get him talking out a movie he loves, or the behind the scenes that brings them to the screen. He is truly someone who believes in the power if cinema.
