Born and raised in Texas, John Dotson has been a film pundit for over 10 years, writing reviews and entertainment coverage at various online outlets. He began writing reviews on social media as a blogger. After getting attention from another critic, he got invited to join the ranks of 411Mania, leading to an incredible journey starting from nowhere. Ever since, his work has been seen at Hidden Remote (Fansided), Renegade Cinema, ScreenRant, GameRant, and Monsters and Critics. As a voice in film commentary, his work has been quoted in movie trailers such as Smile and To Leslie. He has covered some of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, including Fantasia Fest, Fantastic Fest, SXSW, and the Sundance Film Festival.
